Appliances come in all shapes and sizes and actually some of them you should not mix in with your regular garbage even if you manage to fit them in there. For those reasons and a couple more that we are going to cover here shortly, we provide an appliance removal service. Basically, this service sees us go to homes and office buildings to pick up things like refrigerators, printers, toasters, ovens, you name it. As we mentioned a lot of these things are not things that you are going to want to put in your normal garbage or store away for years knowing full well that you are never going to use them again. That where we come in!
If you already bought a new fridge or a stove or anything else that is already on the way and you need to make room for it by getting rid of an older appliance make the call to us. When we are dealing with larger appliances we are usually going to want to know some basic details about the appliance itself before we arrive. Just simple things regarding the size of the appliance. You can even just give us the model and will look it up to make sure that we have a good idea of what we are going to be dealing with.
What Do With Smaller Appliances
With larger appliances, you almost don’t have a choice. If there is no room to fit the new appliance that you are actually going to use you are going to have to get rid of the old one. That is not the case with smaller appliances. These tend to sit around for a while before people actually think to get rid of them. Just a tip on what you can do. Get neighbors or family to give you their old appliances and have our trip be more worthwhile for you.
We actually get calls about this a lot! There are plenty of companies out there that still have plenty of machines that were pretty much essential to business life even 10, 15 years ago. Today they really don’t serve a purpose at all. Yes, we are talking about your fax machines and windows 95 computers! Let’s just face it technology is evolving so fast that having some of these machines is just a waste of space. We can help you take back that space!
A lot of older appliances that run on batteries will get ruined if you leave old batteries on them and that could actually be something that ends up being really toxic. If you have any of these appliances we are going to be able to help you get rid of them. What we do ask is that you let us know that we are going to be dealing with an appliance that had old batteries. That way we can act accordingly to make sure we dispose of them safely!
